The house was designed by exercising the idea of constant reinterpretation of tropical architecture. The reading of head, body and leg configuration which is common in vernacular tropical architecture is dissolved.

The wall and the roof merged together to achieve a completely a different interpretation. Function is served with different approach.

This house is closely related with the Raffles house. The similarity of the size, program and lay out to both houses, is purely an exercise to achieve perfection for my personal exploration in a typical single family residential project.
